A 58-year-old man working at a sewage plant in Tokyo fell into a giant 17-meter deep tank on Friday morning.
A Tokyo Fire Department rescue team was called to the Shibaura Water Reclamation Center in Minato Ward and started draining the tank but so far, the man has not been found, Sankei reported.
According to police and plant officials, the man was one of five workers who were trying to retrieve a 50-kilogram lid that had fallen into the tank at around 10 a.m.
